The boat buying process involves identifying your specific wants and needs, exploring options; including manufacturers with the knowledge and track record for these vessels, dealers & pricing. Not all dealers are equal; sales and after sales service vary a lot. We will deal only with business's that provide services that make your boating experience less stressful. 

Even buying smaller vessels from the Beneteau (R), Parker (R)or Jeanneau (R) range can vary; esspecially with a view to looking after the client and helping with snagging or maintainance. WE KNOW THE SCORE, in this area and will guide you to dealers who have high service and support ethos.

Once a purchase is agreed with the client we will look at, insurance of the boat and provision of service & maintenance with you. In the assessment we will also ask you to forcast your desire as to where your will sail so that aapropriate Advice on Safety & Training can be sought. We guide you through each step with advice from appropriate experienced personel. 

We can help you with an outline of upfront cost and ongoing costs to help you budget. 

Peakbpmarine: we will be there to look after your future needs too. So: Upgrading! Advice on selling,pricing. Maybe help deciding upon new equiptment or servicing. We will only work with trustworthy, reliable people within the supply, service area's as previously stated. That experience can only come from marine industry knowledge. 

Ours fee's depend upon what your needs are and so we will outline costs only after you send in your details and we talk on the phone re: how we can help. 

Our clients will often save much more than our fee. We do make room for 1st time buyers, with a mini cost package, to help get you on the water ( mark your enquiry with :1st Time Boater Deal. This is a desk based assessment; search and a report. Depending upon your needs and budget, an appointment visit will be made for a zoom meeeting. Once a plan & deposit is confirmed a face to face is usually better. However you can ask for additional support as the process goes own; so it is flexible and in your control.  

Some people may need finance; we are not Finacial Consultants; but can give you list of experienced qualified marine brokers.

Once in possession of your boat; we hope all other aspects have been considered by then, so you can get on with learning and enjoying the boating lifestyle upon our stunning coastline; or wherever you desire to travel.

Choosing the right mooring depends on factors like again from that WANT & NEED list. The boat size & draft may be a limitation as maybe location and travlling time. Your location and budget is therefore a key factor in making the boating lifestyle work for you. We offer practicle and advice to secure the best arrangement for your needs. We will assess the ability of the Marina to offer you the service back up you may need in the future.

You might equally want night life and restaurants; many of our marine contacts just love exporing those venue's.  For instance knwing where a Gastro restaurant can be found or one of our teams favourites; a small wine bar that serves cheese platters or cold meats with fresh bread, where you can choose your own bottle from a large selection.

Consideration for children and entertainment might be a key factor as to where you may wish to leave your boat.

Again we can help you with a lot of these wants & needs to assist you making the right choices.  

OUR COSTS: Sometimes our costs can be included within the purchase price on larger vessels over £600k. For small boats many at entry and 2nd time buying the charges are: £299.00 set up costs for assessment and £199.00 per site visit. A boat show day is £300.00. Travel costs 39p a mile.  An average for a new small vessel circa £100k would be £799.00.

We would predict on saving you a minimum of £4000.00 so our service is cost effective.
